I loved the animation dude, you did a great job! The world you set up was really interesting and well made, and the characters were really great, too. Never thought I'd like giant robots fighting that much but I was pleasantly surprised.
Take all the time you need on your works, if there's anything over indie animation than a regular job, it's that you don't have deadlines.
Re: "This past year I've been making an effort to limit time wasting" - Got any tips for this? Something like four years ago I started to make a serious effort to become more productive and less internet-addicted, and I still struggle a lot! Has any particular strategy worked well for you?
Honestly its still hard for me sometimes. It's really just having the willpower to be like "no wait. I'm on youtube shorts. this is all bullshit. Im stopping now". Uninstalling apps n shit too. And also just replacing bullshit scroll time with something more worth your time like a good movie or book.

You put a lot of heart into it and it shows, even besides some of those flubs you mentioned. 20 minutes practically on your own is a tall feat and I think it's worth some pride. Anyway, about growing up - time goes at different rates for us all. Not accomplishing everything you want in your early 20s or youth is the norm, being in the same boat. I think at this point reaching a stage of maturity where you can be happy making what you want for yourself, with no expectations, is the first step. So keep at it man, here's to the next one!
