Hey fellas. It's been a week and a half since Silikon came out and I wanna thank everyone for watching and leaving a lot of really nice comments. That week was a little rough for me for real life reasons so I'm sorry i wasn't responding to all comments with exuberance, but I have read all the comments so thank you guys so much. And thanks for the fan art like holy shit that really made me smile. This is just gonna be a post-modem rambling about Silikon. I'll divide it into sections so you can bounce around and at the end there'll be some stuff for you guys to check out. We ride.

Section 1: CONTEXT

Silikon took a while to come out huh. Around 4 years I'd say. Parts of it even predate that time, like Sierra herself was a side character in a comic thing I never made way back in 2018. Now, as is per usual, did Silikon take 4 solid years of straight work to do? No. I had large gaps of inactivity while working on it. Sometimes for actually good reasons and other times cuz I like playing video games and doing stuff. Not to mention I've been an animator at titmouse full time during the whole process. It really feels like an era of my life has just finished. I moved to Vancouver the year before i started working on it and I feel like this project, the one that's been scrapping my mind, the one where I would have this constant guilt over not working on it. It really kind of defined my early 20s I guess. I'm not early 20s anymore. I turned 26 this month. It's time for some changes, some growing up.

I'm honestly really ashamed it took 4 years to make this, especially since it still turned out a little half baked. If I was really focused on it, I could've had it done way quicker (This past year I've been making an effort to limit time wasting. Fuck you to whoever invented For You pages.) At a certain point I was so close and just wanted this thing out that I cut an entire ending scene and didn't go back to correct some of the earlier animation (The NPCs early on were way over the top looking lol). A lot of it had to do with this being a super ambitious thing I wanted to do. The smart thing would've been to start small, start short. But honestly I love longer-form storytelling so I wanted it to be long. Even with the ending scenes cut it's actually 4 minutes longer than the animatic i made in 2022.

SECTION 2: So...was Silikon good?

Silikon came out...alright. It's something I can be proud of, especially since I did it 99% myself. And it does get better as it goes on which makes me think okay the next thing I make will be better. There are a lot of problems though. I've gotten some comments about poor audio mixing and yeah that's totally my fault. Not testing it on multiple audio setups and just not listening thru it enough (I was in a hurry to put this out). I do intend to go back in and maybe fix some of the problems. The audio mixing and also some rendering errors i noticed too late. When the screen fades to grey static, it's supposed to fade to black but i added the film grain effect very last and forgot to check all of it. Not sure about YouTube but i think here on NG I can upload a new mp4.

One of the other big problems for me was voice direction or lack there of. My intention was to be in call with the VAs while they record but the first person I asked said they don't like being in call while acting so I was like well I guess I won't. There were short tone instructions written on the scripts (stuff like "A little cautious sounding here") but really it wasn't enough. The actual voice actors did a fantastic job with what they had, no criticism to them, it was just lack of direction that made some lines kind of awkward. That's gonna be a priority for me going forward. I guess I can just say hey it's a throw back to old anime dubs and nobody will be the wiser.

I guess audio and voice direction being my two biggest problems is actually kind of nice like oh well im an animator not a sound guy so I was doing my main job right. I obviously have problems with it visually, again there's lots of early stuff I wanted to go back and fix but didn't, and there was some obvious rushed parts near the end of production BUT I think I did okay. I liked the slower parts and I honestly wish I made it a little slower. One of the advantages of independent animation on the internet is that it's such a loose format when it comes to runtime and scope, but I honestly like the formats of TV and movies so I wanted it to feel more like that. I really wanted to do a cool ED animation but...maybe next time.

SECTION 3: What now?

So it's out there in the world now. The response on Newgrounds has been great. Thank you all so much. I saw that the front page had Silikon as the big banner for a bit and that was INSANE to see. Thanks Tom...or whoever's in charge of that. It's the kinda thing I was thinking about while making it like wow maybe MY cartoon will be in the banner or on the wall art or something. Maybe that's a little conceited of me to think.

I was hoping for a little more attention on YouTube but they prolly saw a 20 minute original cartoon not based on anything and went yeah let's let this die. I've never been one to care about view numbers or marketing what I make but considering how long this took, I think I'm allowed to a little this time. Should probably get around to adding subtitles like I wanted to.

Okay let's cut to the chase. I've seen lots of comments saying "this is a great first episode" or "can't wait for more!" Makes sense, it feels like kind of a setup for more. I did intend this to be a first part of a larger story and I have tons of ideas for where to take it and everything, BUT I'm honestly not in a rush to get goin on another one. I'd like to get back to drawing every day and really trying to improve my art which I feel has kinda stagnated recently. And y'know make smaller stuff again. I had plenty of ideas for animations that I can now do now that I'm done this big ass thing. I just wanna have fun making things. The next project I have in mind is a 2nd episode of Bucket Lad (if you haven't seen the pilot uhhh don't. It's not very good.) which I actually fully storyboarded before starting Silikon. I'm gonna change a lot about it but I'm excited to do dumb comedy again. Bucket Lad is way more tied to me and my high school buds and not this cinematic shit that I tried to do with Silikon.

I don't ever want to stop making things. There's so much I wanna do and Silikon, although troubled, has been a BIG BIG BIG learning experience. I'm sure I'll come back to it eventually but for now I'm gonna use what I learned to make stuff BETTER and more EFFICIENTLY

EXTRA SECTION

I'm gonna close out this blog post by giving y'all some shit to click on. I tweeted about it already but I know twitter doesn't like links being in tweets. I uploaded all the Silikon flash files for people to dig around in. I always liked when other animators did that. If i was smart, this kind of thing would be behind a Patreon wall but I like being dumb. They were made in Flash 8 so they SHOULD work with any flash/animate version past that.

Now I know some of you might be like "what the hell, Postboy! You mean Silikon 2 isn't coming out tomorrow? Where am I going to get my stupid anime robot action from now?" I recently finished watching Dragon Ball GT for the first time and I thought it would be fun to write down some of my thoughts. I've always thought about making my own blog, and maybe I still will, but for now...hey I can blog on Newgrounds. Keep in mind I did not go over and check what I wrote and I write VERY stream of conscious so I'm sorry if it's messy. I'm an Animator, not a Writer, as much as I want to be both (and will be)

Cool part of OP 1

DB GT is such a weird beast because I simultaneously don't get why it's hated so much but also completely get it. I'd been hearing that it sucks for as long as I've been listening to what online critics have to say but over the years I've realized online critics can be full of it so I was excited to jump in myself and give it a fair shake.

My thoughts summed up are this: The first half is a fun, if a little rocky, and interesting way to follow up the original Dragon Ball. The second half is mostly bad lol.

I thought the whole space adventure to get new dragon balls was pretty fun and changing Goku back to a kid again worked as a callback but also to nerf the character cuz, let's be real, end-of-Z-Goku would be so over-leveled for this quest. It's not like all the adventures and side characters hit but stories are typically one episode long so it doesn't really matter. The allegiance of Gil and in general the robot planet which connects him to Baby was prolly my favorite part. The visuals are nice. Nothing jaw dropping but a nice continuation of where Z left off. Nakatsuru was a good pick for adapting this era of Toriyama art.

Lots of sites divide the ball hunting and fighting Baby into two arcs which makes sense but one kinda leads into the other which I think was cool. Baby himself was...interesting. I actually like him a decent amount. It's obvious he was never gonna be up there with the big bads of the OG story but his parasitic nature and earth ruling via taking over bodies is cool and unique to Dragon Ball. I'm also happy to say Super Saiyan 4 has finally grown on me and I like it, partially cuz it turns Goku back into a cool dad.

That's all fairly positive, and for the first 40 episodes, GT is a fun little watch. Doesn't compare to the main show but not bad at all. I thought after SSJ4 that the Goku-being-a-kid arc was over...but no. Goku stays a kid which is just kinda weird. Like he goes back to being an adult when he transforms but always goes back to baby Goku after the fact. Is ChiChi really okay with that? I feel like this one thing sums up the 2nd part of GT well. It's like well shit we did our throwback space adventure into big bad battle...Now we have no idea what to do and the rest of the story really would've fit adult Goku more.

Super 17 sucks. I mean it's over quick, only 6 episodes, but it's bad by mid ass dbz movie standards. The setup is dumb and makes no sense and it’s a complete waste of 17’s character who I would’ve been happy to see more of. The only redeeming aspect is the final battle is a team up of Goku and Android 18 which is a cool combo, always nice to see 18 do some fighting.

SIDE NOTE: I had totally forgot about episode 41 which is usually considered part of this arc but is, if I’m not forgetting anything, the only completely self contained, not a part of a larger arc, totally episodic episode in the original Toei run which is…weird. Fun episode though.

The Evil Dragon Arc is better but mostly conceptually. Like the idea of the dragon balls retaliating because of overuse is great and totally the perfect way to end the entire series imo. If only they had toriyama’s writing chops because the result is very bland. Just some okay fights with some okay bad guys. The sillier designs are fine but the designs of the last couple dragons Goku fights are really ugly and uninspired, matching the personalities I guess. Although I do think that one of the dragons being converted to Goku’s side mid fight is a neat idea. The saving grace is the final battle is pretty alright, mostly because it’s a Goku-Vegeta team up match and their banter back and forth is fun. Plus I mean SSJ4 Vegeta and Gogeta. Cool, man. I don’t know why this transformation gives Vegeta biker jeans but I fuck with it.

And the ending, it’s not bad. I’ve heard it described as “the best ending Dragon Ball has ever had” and, yeah I can see how people would think that, not sure I agree just yet but I see it. Goku flying around to all his friends while saying goodbye was very sweet, especially the scene with Krillin. It’s touching, watching them reminisce about when they were both kids. They really have come far…except Goku is still a kid. Honestly that kinda sours the potentially emotional scene for me like I want Goku and Krillin to be old buddies catching up. One of my favorite shots from DBZ is the first episode where a grown up Bulma says “Man we’ve known each other for so long. Crazy to think this is where we ended up.” It then cuts to a shot of Son Goku, fully grown into an adult, with his first son. Just hammering in the growth that he’s gone through. Perfect Shot.

I haven’t been speaking too much about visuals because being honest they didn’t really stand out to me. They weren’t bad and I like some key episodes but overall it’s just kind of…late 90s Dragon Ball standard. Maybe my least favorite era of Toriyama art style being honest (The skinnier, cuter style he got into in the 2000s to the present day I actually enjoy a lot.)

One last thing I wanna touch on. While watching, I was comparing this show a lot to Dragon Ball Super. Both are Toei’s follow up to the original story and it’s interesting how the two shows are honestly complete opposites in a lot of ways (at least to me). 

Broadly speaking, I think GT starts good and gets bad while Super starts bad and gets better. I’m struggling to think about how to word this naturally and not like a bullet point list so instead I’ll just make it a bullet point list. Keep in mind when I talk about Super I’m mostly talking about everything after the two movie recap arcs (They’re both bad. Just watch Battle of Gods, it's really good.) Also I’m not counting the two Super branded movies that came out after the show ended. Just know they are both really really good and you should watch them.

• Structurally, GT feels much more like it’s trying to evolve the series (Except for Super 17). To take it in a new direction, especially in the first arc. Even when it switches to fighting seven strong guys, the context is at least new and transformative. Super feels very stuck in its ways. Like it’s clinging onto old arc templates like tournaments or future Trunks stuff. That being said I think they figure out how to do those templates better as they go but it still feels rather indulgent.
• Writing old characters, I have to give to GT. It’s not much but even in a kid’s body, Goku feels experienced and mature. Meanwhile, I really don’t like how Super writes Goku as this man baby. It’s as if they bought into TeamFourStar memes and forgot that Goku in Z, while selfish and dumb at times, was a much more mature Goku than kid him. I mean the fact that Super doesn’t think Goku knows what kissing is at this point is like, come on guys he has two kids.
• Writing new characters, I will give the edge to Super. GT has some good newbies, like Gil, and some funny one off villains, but really not a ton of them are memorable at all and some are just boring and unlikable. I can’t imagine any of the Evil Dragons being anybody’s favorite character (even though there must be SOMEone…right?). Baby is a faint glimmer of something cool and I kinda like the robot guy they fight beforehand. Meanwhile on Super’s end, there’s a decent amount of newbies I quite enjoy. Of course there are plenty of nobody’s especially from the Universal Tournament but that’s more of Toei writing themselves into a trap by having so many entrants. Beerus and Whis are the obvious standouts. They deserve to be ranked high with the old gods and masters, especially when you start to piece together how they operate. The new Saiyans are really cool. Nice to see Saiyans who are more youthful and have room to grow. Hit is neat. Zamasu/Goku Black was a very unique idea for a villain and there are a couple tournament goers who I enjoy like the robot guy and Top. Can’t say the same for Jiren but oh well.
• Visually, it’s a bit complicated but I do enjoy GT’s look more. Super came out in, what I like to call, the plastic era of Dragon Ball art. An era led by Tadayoshi Yamamuro who is a very stuck in his ways character designer who did good stuff on Z but really fell from grace. Stuff designs and ugly digital colours run amok. The new characters look better than the old characters but still. GT has really nice colours and average art quality is better but the reason I say it’s complicated is that GT doesn’t really stand out that much except for a couple episodes. Super’s production does improve as it goes on, as more animation directors are free to express themselves especially in the Universal Tourney. They just needed new character design sheets though. It never fully escapes the plastic. Funnily enough, even Toei realized this because after Super they got Naohiro Shintani to rework Dragon Ball's look and the next two movies look amazing, Banishing Yamamuro to work on Dragon Ball Heroes promotional movies. A fate worse than death.

Episode 15 of GT was a bit of a standout to me, visually. I love the colours of this desert planet and the storyboarding was really good. I think there may have even been some mixed media, with real pictures of sand used but it's hard to tell. It might just be very realistic painting.

Dragon Ball Super's plastic aesthetic. I've never been a fan of putting shading and highlights in Goku's hair. I feel like it just looks better as one solid colour.

• MUSIC! I just realized I never talked about GT’s music in the main section of this review. Oh well. I mean this Super comparison is way too long so I guess this review has just become that now so let’s talk music. Both series are just kind of good. GT’s music is done by Akihito Tokunaga. He brings a much more dated, of-it’s-time sound to the music overall. It’s nice but it also kind of feels like music an american dub would replace a japanese score with, if that makes sense. (The actual American dub score is pretty hilariously bad). I do enjoy it from time to time, especially when it riffs on the show’s OP. Super’s music is done by Norihito Sumitomo. He’s somewhat infamous for his DBZ Kai score which is…just a mess that I weirdly enjoy. I think he does a decent job though. Pretty standard. Both shows have banger OPs and EDs though.

Well I think that’s about all I have to say on Dragon Ball GT. I’m sorry this was so weirdly messy and structured. I don’t care about going over and proofreading stuff like this, I just kind of let my mind write, stream of conscious style. Finally finishing GT was a nice feeling and overall I’m softer on it than most. If anything I just appreciate that it was an ending. Like it was the end of Dragon Ball. I feel like newer Dragon Ball would never do that sort of thing. Always gotta leave it open because what if we want to sell more trading cards! But I guess that’s also why GT happened in the first place. I don’t blame them, Toei animators gotta eat. It’s just rare to see things end nowadays. Like we can’t have a series be over, it’s always gotta be when’s the next one. And that’s not always bad, I mean I’m excited for more Dragon Ball. I like Dragon Ball. I guess I think about DB differently because in my head, the main story is over. We have the Dragon Ball original story as one complete thing in anime or manga form. But it means a lot to a lot of people and who am I to say new artists can’t put their own spin on it. I’m not really sure why I’m still typing. Dragon Ball GT.

DAY ZERO - JULY 28TH (1 DAY BEFORE MEETUP)

So because I'm a Monday to Friday workin animator, I wanted to get a flight later on the friday. One of the cheapest flights was at 11:15pm and landed at 3am (6am toronto time). I thought "oh I'll do that and then sleep on the plane. That'll work!"

It didn't work.

I tried the whole flight to sleep but it wasn't happening. That's what I get for staying up late watching my roommate play BOTW. At least the sunrise looked nice from the plane. So I get to Toronto airport and immediatly I search where I can sleep in the Toronto airport since I had a hotel for Saturday NIGHT and check-in started at 3pm. I ended up trying to sleep on a hard plastic chair and then ACTUALLY sleeping on a bench on the bottom floor. Cam (@ninjamuffin99) was texting me asking if I wanted to crash at his place which was very nice but honestly it was 2 hours before the meetup and I didn't wanna bother him. Honestly it was a cool experience doing stuff hobo style but next time I'm just getting a better flight why did I do that. I also got subway at some point and in my infinite wisdom got my usual order which includes the spicy stuff that makes me shit. It made me shit. I went like twice in the airport and once in a random mall next to the train station.

DAY ONE - JULY 29TH (DA BIG DAY)

I'm walkin off the subway and into Cristie park. I see a large group of people and go well that must be them. Time to get ready to talk. Immediately @wandaboy and @snackers yelled my name and ran up and hugged me. It was awesome to finally meet those guys. Snackers is the coolest chillest guy and Wanda is an agent of chaos (positive) as expected. It was also then when Pollyanoid aka Amanda also called out my name and we chatted and it was nice. Said hi to cam of course. Big ups to him for organizing this whole thing. He's the only person I had met irl before this meetup.

I met a LOT of people at that park. I'm really shy when it comes to new people but thankfully when I put on the Postboy Nametag™ people started coming up to me which works out lol. I'm sorry I don't remember names that well, there were like 2 Cam clones and 3 Magi clones at that park, but everyone I talked to was so lovely and nice. Thanks for the stickers whoever gave me them. The peeps I do remember meeting were @arkoirisangel @magibauble @brandybuizel @cadaver @gachakoi @droid and a lot of others who I forget the names I'm very sorry. I was very tired from sleeping on an airport bench lol. Apperently I met @tappywara but I literally forget this even happening. I may be stupid but also there were a lot of people.

Of course @tomfulp and @luis were there. I was too shy to go up and talk to them but I thought "oh I'll talk to them eventually" BUT...never did. I WAS standing next to Tom when we were waiting to get into the bar though and I think my hand accidentally slightly grazed his ass so...there's that. Oh, and I didn't know @aaron-long and Kevin Doan (Tangy Mustard) were gonna be there. I was equally as shy and nervous about talking to them and I'm kickin myself in the ass about not talking to him but I did meet Kevin later.

OK THEATRE TIME. Everyone at the meetup walked down the neighborhood streets to the royal theatre. It must've looked pretty weird having all those people walking past your house. I just remember talking to Snackers about how weird Toronto was and talking to Pollyanoid about homestuck or something. The theatre was great. I had good seats between those two mentioned before. A bunch of people were playing VERY laggy Mario Kart DS before the show which was funny. I sadly didn't join cuz my 3DS wasn't charging and I was unsure if it was the 3DS or just my charging cable. The actual show was awesome. It was focused on newer talent and I recognized a lot of the shorts but was also blown away by some of the one's I had never seen before. It was much more artsy than I expected. Like 70% student films and 30% funnies which I think is a good balance. When Cam said it's gonna be all original work I was like "oh god all my original work is bad please don't play mine" WHICH THEY DIDN'T LOL but I helped on Lunar Kicks so I was still technically in the show. I'm making a mission to finish Silikon before the next one.

There was a very odd moment after the show where a bunch of people obviously charged the men's washroom, including myself, and as we were all peeing in unison, Wanda pulls out his phone and starts playing the Gundam 0083 opening out loud and saying some shit like "This bathroom's poppin off" I had no reason to recap that but I feel like it's something I'll never forget.

AFTER THE SHOW we all went to this bar that was right next door. Cam obviously had to go in and ask if it's okay to storm 80 people into a bar. It was weird. I think it was Japanese themed and all the TVs were playing anime related content. I was sat at a table watching some bootleg ass mexican DBZ parody which was awesome. The bar was great. I talked with a lot of people! I got myself a big ass beer and it was good. At some point Wanda got a bunch of people together for shots including me which was a good time. This is also were I got to talk to Kevin more and he was very cool. I did not expect to be doing shots with Tangy Mustard on this trip but I'm glad I did. Honestly the alcohol made me totally forget I was tired and I was a social animal. Shout out to the guy who came up to me and asked me about Gundam and the guys talking about Kamen Rider. Also shout out to Amanda who was sober but was so chill and nice the whole time. This is a photo from said event

Afterwards, we took to the streets of Toronto. I told this to Magi, but there was a moment where I realized I'm in a completely foreign place and had no idea where I was. It was slightly terrifying but I was chill about it. Half the people went to a barcade but I don't think they got in. The other half went to this weird place where you play board games while you eat and drink. Honestly, I was a little dispaointed we weren't at an arcade cuz...What can I say I'm a gamer, BUT once we started playing and eating it was actually really fun. I played an accusation game with Ninjamuffin, Pollyanoid, BrandyBuizel and @elitemastereric and it was all super fuckin fun and we had a good time and also I finally ate something.

After that, we split. Amanda (I can't remember if I mentioned it but thats @pollyanoid 's name) had a flight to see her BF at 8am the next day and was planning on just staying up at the airport but asked if she could just come to my hotel since my place was right next to the airport. It took like an hour and a half but we managed to transit our way back to my hotel. It was really nice getting to talk to Amanda, she's such a good talker. Once we got there, they told me that the regular rooms were sold out and that they put me in a junior suite which like ...OKAY. I was actually kinda pissed cuz I knew I was only gonna be here for the night and they gave me a damn apartment which a living room and kitchen and all that. I think Amanda was just gonna stay up and I WANTED to stay up with her (order pizza watch a movie have a girlz night so to speak) but then my body reminded me hey you only slept like 3 hours on a bench last night and I was like sorry Amanda I gotta crash (after watching a WIP of her new animation). It was a very good sleep.

DAY TWO - JULY 30TH (THE AFTER DAY)

I woke up to a nice little note Amanda wrote for me before she left. I didn't really know what I was doing that day so I checked out and got Church's Chicken cuz it was next door. Then, instead of taking the airport shuttle, I just walked to the airport cuz I felt like it. the whole time I was texting Cam on what we're doing today since my flight wasn't until 10:45pm. Eventually he told me to just come over to his place so I trekked the messy Toronto transit system to his place. Cam's place was crazy. I couldn't stand up straight or else my head would hit the ceiling lol. But Wanda, Snackers, Magi, Arko, Arko's bf i think and...Caddy? I think his name was, were all there and we all played Brain Age on Cam's couch. I live in Vancouver but I moved here from Calgary which is where all my friends still are so I missed the experience of everyone meeting at someone's house to chill and I know it's corny but I just wanna thank all those peeps for being so cool and fun to chill with. Also turns out, MY 3DS ISN'T BORKED. Guess I just need a new cable.

Afterwards we ACTUALLY went to the barcade. It was very fun, good selection of games. Played DDR with snackers that was probably the highlight. People from the meetup were still in town so some of them came to hang out again. It was very fun but I knew my time was limited. I had to leave at 8 in order to make it to the airport in time. 8 rolled around and Cam, Wanda and Snackers all walked me out and said goodbye (Also Droid walked by when this was happening and said bye too lol). I was tough leaving but I hope I can see those guys again. Not as tough as Union station though. That place is seriously cool but man it's a maze.

Well that's about it. I flew back to Vancouver and took the night bus home. It seems while I was gone my roommate (who had never played any Zelda game) had caught the BOTW itch haha. I just wanna say thanks to everyone I talked too. This was my first time doing something like this and it was so so so fun. My traveling isn't over as it just so happens I'm going to LA to see @ritascounterattack next week so that's gonna be awesome. Hopefully the next meetup will be in like Seattle or something cuz I can just drive there.

Update WE ARE SO BACK ALSO THEY CHANGED THE BIRD WHILE I WAS GONE??

Recently I took a test for a hand drawn animation job that i wanted sooo badly. If you dont know for the past two years ive been an animator at titmouse working on Baby shark (yeah i know). I really gave the test my all but was rejected. This is the 4th time I've tried to get a hand drawn job and I'll admit, I went into bed and cried a little. But y'know, I think the rejection made me stronger. Since then I've reflected on why I think animation is such a beautiful medium. Soo uhh yeah. Got banned from twitter. I'm pretty sure it's cuz I replied to a crypto bot butting in on a conversation with "Kill. Yourself." oh noooo I must've really hurt the bots feelings...

To be honest I'm a little upset. Not because OH NO I HAD 13K FOLLOWERS like honestly I'm fine with starting over. The people who actually care will come back. Plus it'll be nice to start over fresh. Like peeling the plastic off of a new thingy.

I'm more upset because:

1. I had a lot of very helpful threads bookmarked so bye to them
2. I've seen way more heinus disgusting shit on twitter and I get banned for...responding to a crypto bot okay...

For a bit I was like "well fuck twitter who needs it." But like "haha fuck twitter" meme aside, I like twitter! I follow my friends and I like the art they post lol. So I went to make a new account

And they immediately limited my account and shadow banned me. Well...okay.

I'll make a new account eventually but I guess I'll just chill for a bit. I'll be here. Saw oppenheimer on friday. It was good. I have a lot of problems with it (like the editing) but i was pretty invested and there are some key scenes that really fucking blew me away.

Uhhh what else...Gonna be at the Toronto newgrounsd meetup next weekend, pretty hype. My flight is overnight on friday (leaves at 11:15pm) so my plan is to sleep on the plane and then sleep at the toronto airport since i only have a hotel for saturday night. I see people do that..right? ur allowed?
